FIC: "Cupid's Dart" House/Wilson NC-17

Jun 16, 2008 01:36

I'm proud of this one - it took a long time to write and edit, and at 17 pages, it's three times as long as my typical House/Wilson fics. It's my version of the House/Wilson backstory, based on my fanwank that the two have been romantically and sexually involved, off and on, since they first met. This is not an original theory, and the House/Wilson ( Read more... )

Fantastic, as always. I especially love the ending, with Wilson realizing he makes things complicated and House keeps things simple. Really beautiful and in character.

Will there be more of this time frame? I would love more of this!

Beyond that, I'm unable to be coherent at this time. A side effect of reading your fics. :-)

Thank you! I'm so excited by my first feedback on this story. I did have a hard time writing the ending, I really wanted it to zine, but in the end I decided it was okay for the story to just fade off sweetly ( ... )

I love your perspective on this. I love how you portray them ( ... )

I hate to dissappoint you, but I won't be writing more young!House and Wilson fics anytime soon. I have another H/W in the works and they are at their current ages. I also want to write more Doctor Who and Torchwood slash. And I plan to post one of my very first slash stories, a Holmes/Watson piece. You know, broadening one's horizons and all. But I'll always return to House/Wilson, my favorite pair ( ... )

Interesting idea about them continuing to be together throughout the wife years and Stacy years. Secretly? Or do the wives and Stacy know about it but avoid it/accept it ( ... )

Hi missviolet! saw myself mentioned so thought I'd comment here.

I love your story. Curiously perhaps, my favourite bit is after their first time when Wilson is all unsure and suddenly he realises House is even more unsure: and House doesn't expect him to come back but then Wilson comes back from the vending machine *loves*

As you know, I so totally agree about them being together for a long time. I don't have any monopoly over H/W established relationship fic - the reason I write it is because I like to read it, and I would love it if you chose to write more young!H&W.

And what you say here:
As far as whether they are together, yes, in my world, they are always together, whether they are having sex or not.
is absolutely my personal canon too.

Oh yeah, your name's come up a few times, because everyone thinks of you when we discuss this particular fanwank (because of Don't Ever Change, of course). Thanks for your feedback. I do love that part before Wilson goes to the vending machine, too. I might even pinpoint that as the crux of my whole story, in that I thought of that bit before I wrote most of the story. I wanted to show that it wasn't casual sex, even if it happened quickly, and both of them thought the other might consider it just a quick wankoff. But just because it happens quickly, doesn't mean that it's meaningless. Sometimes people just know it's right from the get-go ( ... )

Oh... were your ears burning, hwshipper? :-)

I don't mean to just casually "lump" you and missviolet together, so I hope it didn't seem that way. You are each a unique writer with your own unique style and vision. I absolutely can tell the difference between a hwshipper fic and a missviolet fic, and I love the fics that both of you write.

Both of your universes make sense, and each can exist in parallel. And I'll keep reading both of you.

*clasps burning ears*

No, not at all! I quite agree, there are many H/W 'verses all co-existing beautifully in parallel and room for all of them.
