Birfday weekend
Thank you all for my wonderful birthday messages.
It was a fab weekend. Me and Jake had the whole weekend together for the first time since his club started. We went to see Derren Brown on Friday which was utterly brilliant, then checked into our hotel for the weekend (via a drink at a few soho pubs where we randomly bumped into Adam from TG who we've not seen in literally years!!!)
Saturday we wandered around Portobello Rd antiques market. So much amazing stuff!!! Went to the mexican cantina for lunch and met Gus briefly. Then went round Ripleys Believe it or Not like proper tourists. Expensive ...yes, but a lot of fun! Dinner was at BBR restaurant. A beautiful place that looks like an Edwardian train. Great food and service and a bit special!! I totally recomend it !!!
Sunday we lay in again and then drank wine in Hyde park laughing at the overly angry teen rollerblader trying to do slalom and kicking his cones around when he failed. Then we shopped a bit and dribbled on the windows of Saville row tailors and ate dinner at Momo's north African restaurant. Good, but not as good as BBR!
Found out I'm working tomorrow at 8pm so am home and drunk! Hopefully I'm going to the Magic Circle tomorrow evening with Christian. Fun fun fun!
Oh and my birthday pressy from Jake was a case for my autoharp which I really needed and a vintage magic book!!! HOORAY
