Invitation List
I spent about two hours yesterday writing out the entire invitation list for my side of the family with my grandmother, an aunt, my mother and sister. It took a lot longer than I thought it would because I had too many people trying to help me with the list at once. Their were quite a few instances when they wanted me to invite a relative I had never met or hadn't seen since I was five. I would tell them I wanted to invite the people who had either been a significant part of my life or were closely related to me. That makes sense doesn't it?
As I was writing down the names of people I knew from the family, my mother would talk about why it was necessary to invite this whole other part of my family that I barely knew. I agreed to put the two family members I knew well on the list and that was it.
