update, update, update...
yesterday we did kobe - beef, shopping, walking, walking, shopping, international cheese shop....
ummm, its all kinda fuzzy right now....
'cause today we did kyoto - omg! i still feel like im on a train right now, things just havent been as steady as they were since i left since i left. oh, and it snowed. and it was snowing while i was walking around kyoto. and we were walking, and we walking, and we were walking. in kyoto. and then we rode the train some more. i know im rambling, i feel a little overwhelmed at the moment, inertia is scary sometimes, but anyway, other than the snowing, and the walking, the highlights included spaghetti, kobe tower, pushy shop people, the view, the view, the view, the fact that temples and shrines close at 5, but the buses still drop you off there if your dumb enough to get there at 5:15. and there was mass transit, and inclement weather, and magic. it feels different here, reminiscent of the energy around ren faire, or sedona, or new orleans before it got katrina'd (sorta) but different. cant describe it really at the moment, but its there.
surrounded in tradition, and culture, and the fact that its on the other side of the world.

you know the haunted house segment in the animatrix, the sound of the crosswalk signal, yeah, i heard that today, it was surreal.
sorta set the tone for everything else... or more accurately defined what was already there.
but anyway, im insanely, deliriously tired right now, and even after sitting here writing this, i still feel like im on the fucking train.
