(no subject)
So
Ryan's debit card number got stolen, and whoever snagged it just gave themselves a full tank of gas, a pack of smokes, opened two gas card debit accounts and bought about $400 in stuff from BestBuy and other places. All in the span of about 4 hours.
There is...was only about $16ish in there.
BUT.
My paycheck direct deposits tomorrow night at 11:30. Card charges typically take 24 hours to post, and gas pump purchases can take longer. I can't do ANYTHING about stuff that's listed as pending. The fraud dept. of my bank DID get a hold of me almost IMMEDIATELY (the towns are half the state away), and we closed out the stolen card, but I still can't dispute anything until the fraudulent charges actually hit the account. If I am VERY, VERY lucky (I won't be) we can get to the bank tomorrow to...I dunno...halt the charges? Put a delay on my check so it won't get eaten? ??????
This paycheck was supposed to be electric bill and phone/internet.
If it eats all my money (it will), who knows when we'll actually get it back. The last time this happened was the Paypal Incident, and they dragged their asses on that for nearly a month.
Part of me is glad this wasn't like...our rent money, but...it kind of is. I typically try to save about $150 of NotRent paychecks for Rent weeks. also HA HA NO GROCERIES OR UTILITIES LEL NO XMAS NO STAR WARS LOLOLOLOLOL EFF U FOR TRYING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT ANYTHING
I sincerely hope whatever they bought at BestBuy electrocutes them DIRECTLY in the genitals.
