Soooo,
A letter and bill for a certified letter showed up at my parent's house. Both were from the county clerk. I KNEW I had back taxes (a lot...), so I just figured that was it. NO.
Someone bought the tax lien on my house.
Back in November. 2009. Whu-? The letter informing me it was purchased is dated January 28th, 2011. We were LIVING in the house in November of 2009 and getting the mail every day. I didn't get anything except a notice from the county, to pay the taxes. Nothing from this company that supposedly bought my lien. Yet the letter from the clerk claims we're being charged by this company for notification? And for title examination? WHU-?

EDIT: After filing for both my own and Ryan's tax returns, we have enough coming back, JUST, to take care of it.
That's great, yey, but it also leaves us with nothing to pay for fixing the car. FUUUUUU-

Talked to Mom and she said she can't help me with the tax thing, but she's already offered to get the car towed on her AAA when we can, and miiiiight be able to help with repairs? I don't know.
