My hub my hub my hub!
My hub is here. It is connected. It works. I have 12Mbps - yeah baby! And it's teatime, so the connection ought to be a bit slow as every man and his dog are trying to get online at this time.
12 Mbps. Oh yeah! Twice what my dad gets on his on a good day, with a following wind. I suspect this is because I am within shouting distance of the exchange and he lives a mile away. I would enjoy it more if my computer were able to keep up, but I do notice an improvement in download of picture heavy pages.
And I was only expecting 8 Mbps.
So all in all, worth the wait, and the second phonecall to that nice lady in India who said it would definitely come this time, and it did.
And I found the phone charger whilst scrabbling around behind the puter, so a good day, I think.
