Spring break...

Went by so ridiculously fast! That makes me sad! Lol. Either way, it was good.

Last weekend I did good things like shopping, and hanging out with Seeley, both of which were awesome. The shopping last Saturday was awesome, because I needed sneakers. And, I got three pairs for a ridiculously good price. And they are nice sneakers too.

Hang outs were fun because on Sunday Katy, Seeley and I went out for brunch. To this place in hopewell called Brothers Moon. Mmmmm for delicious food. But, delicious food that was not that ordinary like squash soup. Lol. It was also good times because we all got to hang out for like two hours. That, and I think I'm seeing them again next weekend for Starwars. We were supposed to get together in Boston, but it didn't happen.

Sunday night was the anual corned beef family dinner for St. Patrick's day. Mmmmm good food. With the fam. And some of Rob's friends.

Monday and Tuesday, I did a whole lot of nothing. Not even work. Good job self. Not that I have a ton of work but... I'm glad I didn't do a whole lot though, because my throat was killing me. I was sincerely worried that I was getting mad sick again. But, on Tuesday, I walked to right aid and got some advill cold and sinness (spell check) and that did the trick thankfully. Kenny made dinner for us on Tuesday night. Some bangin chicken and pasta. Mmmm I haven't had fried chicken in awhile. I didn't know Kenny could cook. Lol.

Wednesday afternoon, I left for Boston. The train ride from NY penn is like four hours and 15 minutes. I gotta say though, its not too bad. I'm okay with riding those trains. I can pretty easily fall asleep. Sleep plus two gigs of music makes for a quicker train ride.

Karen and I didn't do a whole lot Wed. night. We went out to this place called "the 99" near her house. Awesome place! Not only was the food good and cheap, but I think we had one of the best after dinner drinks ever! It was called a Malabu suntan, and it was hot chocolate, with a shot of malabu, and a shot of butterscotch shnops. Mmmmmm delicious.

Thursday, I went to work with Karen. Met some of her students. We had delicious dunken donuts, and then post work we walked to the grocery store to get stuff to make anchilatas (spellcheck cause I suck at spelling). They ruled. A lot. They were bean and chese. Mmmmm. We spent the night at home, hanging out, watching TV, having a few drinks and basically just hanging out.

Friday was our night in the city. We met up with Shelley Rhodes and Karen's other friend Ana for dinner. We ate at the California pizza kitchen. I thought it was good. Or at least, the food I had was good. It was no New York pizza, but you know. Not much is. It was good to see Shelley again. We were gonna stay in the city and try and meet up with Seeley, Katy, Dayne and Kristine, but it didn't work out because we didn't wanna miss our final commuter rail at 10-30. So we went home earlier.

I really like Karen's cat. A lot. First off, she got along with the dogs and liked being around people. Much like Leah's cat. But, additionally, she liked to cuddle, and spent a lot of time one day in particular on my lap. If I could garintee I'd have a cat like that, I'd totally get one!

I came home Yesterday, so that I could be home for Easter. Which was a good thing because Mom is currently making ham, baked beans, and potato and maccaroni salad. Also, Aunt Goo made broccoli caserole! That=awesome!

Also, I think I sprained my ankle at some point in Boston. I guess any little turn will do it. I didn't notice it. I thought my ankle was a bit sore, but... I just didn't pay attention. Today, I was walking around at home with no shoes on going, "Ouch, this kind of hurts!" And, I discovered, that it is swollen. Way to go Sioban.

Food smells good. People are in the kitchen. So on that note, I'm done.
