Yes, i hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the so-called holiday "good friday" is flagrant false advertising - let me tell you. My friday was not by any means GOOD. Hey, you know SmorgasBob's was closed....prolly by the health department. Not sure if I trust a place that has such a bad pun for a name.

I think for our next day outing, we should go to Monteray and eat at that Sly McFly place!

No no, I think SmorgasBob's was dark because the windows were tinted. Classy joints do that to detract from hobos gathering outside. ;) You think Bob and the bear would eat there? I bet the bear loves buffets.

I dunno..... Between the dark windows, the lack of cars, and the weeds growing in the sidewalk cracks, I think SB's really was deadened. The health dept probably closed 'em.

Hey now, we never got close enough to see any cars in the lot, let alone weeds in the sidewalk cracks!!! You wouldn't let me!! Stop telling stories! We should have investigated - it couldn't have been worse than that restaurant/casino we stumbled into on the way back from Reno!

No, I think you must have imagined that... All I saw surrounding SmorgasBob's was class.

You're thinking of Great America.. it's KIND of near Monterey, but not. Monterey is about 3 hours away, and GA is about the same as S.F. There's no way to do both in the same day.

Monterey has this gi-normous aquarium with killer whales and whatnot. And a warf with all sorts of ocean thingies.
