Flowers!
Today is... Secretary Day! So, we've got flowers, and we're going on to lunch (which the company pays for). Yay for holidays invented by the flower industry! Of course, we've had to organise everything ourselves, but it's nice nevertheless. The flowers are awesome. From the same florist we use when we've actually made a placement, and send flowers to congratulate the candidate with their new job.
Manuela has her day off today, but we sent the flowers to her house, so that she's not left out.
And I'm feeling quite pretty (wearing my new clothes!) even with a monster zit on my chin. So, all in all, I'd call this a good day. And Prison Break is on tonight! And the scaffolding is gone, so now you just hear the roofers scramble over the roof, but they're not appearing in front of the windows anymore.
I've almost finished The man who loved Jane Austen. The quality is somewhere between chick lit and your average Harlequin, but quite entertaining nevertheless. And I have to keep up my rep of owning everything Jane Austen based (fiction, non-fiction is too much), so it's all good.
It's almost weekend! Yay! It's supposed to be around 20 degrees this weekend (finally!!!!), so I'm thinking I'll just spend some time riding my bike through the forest and fields nearby my house. It'll be nice to get out again. I haven't been on a decent bike ride (that is, without actually having a goal) since.... I don't know. August, probably?
