Wow, can't believe how long it's been since I posted here. Update on the TV Polonaise costume, have asked for it to be returned so I can enlarge the armscye and reduce the fullness of the neckline lace, a couple of jobs I'm not looking forward to because I make my costumes so securely that undoing seams and hand stitching can take a long time!

What a busy house you have these days ... and how much fun is doting on your grandaughter 2 days a week.

I'll let you know after the 2nd day in a row. I must say though I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I remember about looking after a little one for more than a couple of hours, after all my youngest child is 24 years old !! Oh, that's scary !! I can still rock a baby to sleep and feed it solids, change a dirty nappy etc. Brings back some lovely memories.

I think we all have unused skills buried deep in our brains, just waiting for a chance to come back to life.
