this rain sucks...
and my umbrella broke, this is just great. i have an exam tonight at 7:40, havent started studying yet....but its ok, i only have to read 50 pgs in the text book. my class just got a 2 week extension on our 30 pg annotated bibliographies, this is EXCELLENT. instead of being due next week i have 3 weeks to procrastinate, woo hoo! let's see....what else is new....oooo i got a haircut. i like it very much, it is still long i suppose, but it seems short to me. plus i got the ever popular (trendy) sweeping bangs. i havent had bangs in AGES. they are really cute, but they get in the way sometimes.
easter was wonderful. i came to south jersey saturday night to go to steve's house (and his church in the morning) i tried to get in contact with some peeps, but i was unsuccessful. this makes me sad, especially because it seems that some of them were enjoying themselves at ollie gators, whilst i was across the street at ye olde palace diner. sooo close, but sooo far away.
i saw the fam for the first time in two months, it was a wonderful, and emotional visit. we had an actual family group hug....minus my dad who was working....at that moment we were the corniest family in the world, but i loved it. we are all still pretty upset about shelby dying (see previous post), and this was the first time i saw them since it happened. we all had a good group cry/hug, and we were all super affectionate with each other. i guess when something like that happens so close to home it really makes you appreciate life and the people who are apart of yours. i told them all i loved them at random times through out our easter celebration and gave a million kisses, right on the lips, no awkward cheek kisses for those high schoolers. i planted them right on their lips and they did the same back. it felt really good to reaffirm how much we really mean to each other. shelby affected so many people, she made us a kissy family and i wish i could give her a hug (or kiss) and thank her for that.
still no word on law schools.....i dont think i can wait much longer, im getting neeeeervous. less than 2 months till graduation, eeek!
oh, and btw, in the 2 months since i saw my brother jake last he grew 3 inches and LOST 18 lbs. puberty is insane! he looks like a completely different person.
