I Need Models and a MakeUp Artist for Dragon*Con!
I'm going to be showing my designs in the steampunk fashion show at Dragon*Con on Friday night. The organizer hasn't done a particularly good job of getting models or makeup artists for designers, and so I'm thinking it will be best to just provide my own. I have three models so far, but I need two or three more.
Is there anyone who is already planning on attending the convention who would like to model for me or do makeup? The reason you have to be attending already is that Dragon*Con is pretty stingy with handing out free badges. I'm doing a fashion show and two panels, and I'm not getting a free badge. ~_~
Models:
This would be an unpaid modeling job, though I would be sure to direct you to whatever pictures are available to add to your portfolio. So it's essentially TFP. I'd like to see about getting a photographer to take some pictures if there's time. If you have one, you would also be welcome to have a photographer friend grab some shots of you.
You don't need to have previous modeling experience, though if you have some, that's all the better. I'll give you some pointers on how to walk if you need them.
I'm not too picky about size or height. The taller you are, the better, but two of the models I have already are quite short, so whatever.
The show is at 10pm on the Friday evening of Dragon*Con. I would need you to be available from 7pm onward until the show is over, probably around midnight.

This would be an unpaid MUA job. It's essentially TFP. I'd like to see about getting a photographer to take some pictures if there's time. If you have one, you would also be welcome to have a photographer friend grab some shots of your work.
I hate hate hate doing makeup on other people, and so even if your current portfolio is fairly limited, I'd be happy to consider working with you. I'm not looking for anything too bizarre for the makeup. It will probably be just smokey eyes and berry lips.
I would need you to be available from 7pm to whenever you finished the makeup on my models. You would be free to go when you're done, and you would be welcome to come back when everyone is dressed and get some pictures.
