Writer's Block
Guh. Look, I understand that Guantanamo is one of THE most important questions, right now, but frankly I'm sick unto death of it showing up in the Writer's Block. National Geographic is really pushing the envelope with this series they're doing; the way it has been touted (at least on LJ) creeps dangerously near 'Reality Television' territory. And when you cross that line, particularly with shows that are all about sensationalism and eliciting emotional responses instead of allowing you to understand (and allowing the emotional side of things to come second), I lose a LOT of respect for you.
