maintenance of lamps
I got a traffic ticket the other day because one of my taillights was out. It said "Maintenance of Lamps" on my ticket. Apparantly I failed to maintain my lamps. Well, I just looked up how much I have to pay online: $54.00!!!! Plus the cost of however much it cost me to fix my car. (It was actually only like seventeen dollars, but still. I'm pissed.)
I went up to good old Purchase yesterday for a lesson, intending to stay for the two senior recitals afterwards, but it started raining like a monsoon, and my mother made us go home. She was driving, because Ruby was in the shop getting her lamps maintained. So I missed the recitals and I'm very upset. On a lighter note, I only have two and a half more weeks of work left!
