here we go again
So for the first time in my life, I am excited for the summer. Here's why:
1) Nutmeg is coming home which means 3M will be at full strength and there will be plenty of blonde outings; kayaking, gregg's, road trips,etc.
2) Zipper gets a haircut for the summer and Zipper looks much better with a haircut
3) My bedroom at home is being redone, this week it is being painted pink and I will be rearranging the furniture and selecting window treatments with la mia madre
4) My room is much bigger than the glorified closet refered to as a dorm room
5) I'm taking recent fiction which should hopefully be a fun class
6) I'm a little excited to go to work and do something productive and get to dress up everyday
7) I have a bigger tv in my room than I do at school
8) the weather should hopefully be getting nice soon
So I'm very excited about the summer and I will be turning 20! Finally I will no longer be a teenager.
I'm excited for next year too. I'm commuting, and I think that should be an interesting change(no more donnovan food) and I'm taking 2 british lit classes, 2 writing classes, and forensic science. and i'm just in a good place in my life right now, and i feel as if i'm ready to move on with my life.
I came to the conclusion, well I came to this conclusion a few weeks ago actually, that I'm really quite different from the majority of my peers. I mean I'm actually capable of thinking independently, I have morals, and I can hold intelligent conversation. The majority of my friends possess the same qualities and are among the reasons that are generation is not totally going to fuck up everything.
of course i'm suffering from the usual grade paranoia, and you know what that means...i'm going be looking for boxes for mine and mattie camp's street home. so you know if anybody has any like really big boxes, you may want to put them aside just in case.
