so, it was what, JUNE the last time I posted? Lordy how life has changed, and its AMAZING!!
Ok, so we took our trip to Disneyland, it was SO much fun, we went with Ashley, her now ex-bf Bo, and of course Doug was there. We stayed for 3 days and took TONS of photos and celebrated Ashley and I's bdays. The first day we went to MiMi's for breakfast and spent the day in the park. Noah and Scott met up with us, and we had dinner in the park. We rode all the rides, bought silly souveniers, like you do. haha.
The next day we spent the day in the park, and that night Ash and I celebrated our bday dinner at House of Blues at Downtown Disney. We wore bday pins, sashes and sparkly minnie ears. hehe. We had such a blast. Ryan and Cynthia came, Luke came with his roomate, and we all had drinks, dinner and dessert, took lots of photos and spent time together. It was an AMAZING trip.
After our trip, back home, lots of things happened. Our trip to Disneyland was in May and it is now almost OCTOBER. So forgive me if it takes a couple more posts to get this all in.
I had made a post that we are in love ;) After our trip back home, I couldnt NOT tell him. One night I told him I loved him, and he said he loved me too.. it was just PEFECTLY PERFECT.
We have taken MANY trips back to CA since my last posting, he has met 99% of my friends in Cali. I SIGNED A MOVIE SOUNDTRACK DEAL WITH WARNER BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!! We went out to Hollywood to record the song "No Longer In Love" for the Utopian Society soundtrack, and he got to be in the studio with me. Sharing that with him was PHENOMINAL.
The soundtrack will be in stores nationwide along with the movie in January, and I will be going on tour for the film. :) I can't wait!!!!!! Im going to miss my baby fiercly, but its such a dream come true.
I got to show him a lot of our favorite places in CA. Took him to Aroma Cafe a couple times for breakfast, shopping on Melrose, the Abbey for drinks. My birthday was in June and it was AMAZING. He took me to the Compass Room for dinner, I had never been there. It's a restraunt that sits above the Hyatt hotel downtown Phoenix, i took him to the Standard's rooftop club ;) it was like a swap. hehe. We got all dressed up for my bday and had an amazing dinner. He gave me tickets for us to see Boys II Men and En Vouge THIRD ROW in concert, he also gave me tons of beauty and bath stuff as well as a weekend away at a resort in Prescott. It was PERFECT.
We went away to Prescott that next weekend, and it was SUCH a cute place. Our hotel was SO pretty and we had a big jacuzzi tub right by the bed.. haha.. VERY romantic though.. with champagne, roses, bubbles.. *swoooooon*.
We shopped and went to an old fashioned ice cream shop and went hiking. Last month we went to Sedona to hike and have lunch, it was so pretty up there too. Arizona is STILL suprising me. Next month we are going camping. My first camping trip EVER. I am a little nervous but hopefully it will be fun.
As far as my last post about my mom, she had surgery, it went good and she is recovering well. She is going through treatment to get all the rest of the cancer. If any of you still read this, keep her in your prayers. :) Thanks.
So, life has been different. Beautiful. A blessing. And I appreciate it more each day. Doug and I started going to a wonderful church together, and his sister and her family go there as well. :)
The holidays are coming.. and I can't wait. I can't wait for the CD to release. The tour to start. And as Doug said last night as I lay in his arms on our 7 month anniversary.. "One year will be here before you know it baby.."
