Yep. All gone. I mean, for me, anyway. It barely brushes my shoulders. I know that there are those friends of mine who would have been all like, "Do it not!!!" but seriously ... I've had long hair forever and I wanted to try something new, so I did. I didn't cry. I didn't even feel sad at the loss. If anything, it was quite refreshing to feel and see something completely different on myself. Of course, my hair isn't "pretty" anymore, but it's definitely cute. Long and flow-y is nice, but cute and spunky is fun, too.
I thought Shaun was going to have a heart attack, because he is very much of the mind that short hair is horrible and long hair is wonderful. But he said that he's getting used to it and he likes it more and more as time goes on. I love it. I needed a change and you may find it silly that I found change in a hairstyle, but this was a really big thing for me. Seriously. I dig it so much.
Outside my work today there were six firetrucks. SIX. ... ? I have no idea why or what was going on, but they were there for like two and a half hours and they were still there when I left. It was funny though cause like ... when I left, I went outside and there were just like fifteen or twenty firemen just standing on the corner. And I had to walk through all of them, which was weird. They were all really hot. Some stereotypes can be wonderfully true.
Although, I had to drive back their way and had to stop right by where some of them were standing, blocking off the street ... I had my window rolled down and was blaring Trivium and they kinda looked like "What is that girl doing listening to metal?" It was kind of awesome.
Anyway ... slumber party tomorrow! Watching horror movies in a cabin in the middle of the woods - what could be more perfect? Now all we need is a serial killer on the loose and my life will be complete. And ended. But still complete.
