Rode my bike back from Don Mills and Lawrence today, for the second time. This time I tried using Google Maps' bike route, instead of Ride The City's, since that one had put me on Don Mills Road for 3km, well into the part where it loses the reserved lane and becomes a multi-lane highway. Well, that was scary - I took Kiska for her evening walk, and another dog in the park attacked her. Really savagely - it looked like it was trying to tear her throat out. Luckily she wasn't hurt, except for a small graze on her ear - there was tiny smear of blood there, but nothing much.

( I, on the other hand, was not quite so lucky... )

Note to Dog:

I hear the people in the hall. Really. Including the maintenance guy doing fire door improvements. It is not necessary to bark and/or growl to alert me every time you hear a sound out there. Especially when that sound is a power drill, I can hear it perfectly fine.

Today was a day of major cycling. I rode a grand total of 33km today, which I think may be an all-time record for me. Good: got a phone message from the investigating officer, who had already paid a visit to the guy, and I think actually took him down the station even. Quicker response than I'd expected.
