I finished reading Founding Brothers this morning and hence refuled my odd affection for Thomas Jefferson. He is by far my favorite dead white guy.

I also went out today, braving the storm, and went to the library (driving MYSELF nonetheless). Once there I bought 11 books for 10 bucks, all but one in practically just off the bookstore shelf ( Read more... )

I like your idea of putting the book you're reading in the current location spot. I'd do it, too, but I like putting my location. I also don't read nearly as quickly as you, thus my current book would be the same for at least three or four days.

That word pwns. SYZYGY!

I know my cursive Z. And my cursive capital Q, for that matter. I had to teach Thompson and his class how to both. Random day near the end of the year, dont ask.

Yay for Thomas Jefferson! I think I may have to actually read some of his own work now as opposed to historians' discussions of it...
