Booklove <3

I finished reading Founding Brothers this morning and hence refuled my odd affection for Thomas Jefferson. He is by far my favorite dead white guy.

I also went out today, braving the storm, and went to the library (driving MYSELF nonetheless). Once there I bought 11 books for 10 bucks, all but one in practically just off the bookstore shelf condition.

Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert
The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell
The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri
Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood
Wickford Point by John P. Marquand
Shanghai Station by Bartle Bull
Memory in the Flesh by Ahlam Mosteghanemi
The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl
Corelli's Mandolin by Louis De Bernieres
Cordelia Underwood by Van Reid
Layer Cake by J.J. Connolly

You gotta love library book sales.

Also, I found a new word:

SYZYGY

Is that not the best word ever? I think that this finally beats out ennui for my top favorite. Write it in cursive, if you can remember how to make a "z." It just looks so darn cool!
