They're skate dance fighting!

So there's quite a lot of things going on in my life right now. Fairly large and unwieldy things at that. And yet, I'm not finding myself with a particularly strong desire to talk about them. A big part of this is, I think, fatigue. I've been fretting privately for so long that now that I should maybe share some of this information with people I care about I'm just too tired to really do so.

...that sounds unnecessarily cryptic. I promise I'm not pregnant.

The summary is that my job has been putting me through the ringer emotionally, and then not providing and reward monetarily. The new car is still a solid little vehicle, but the combined car payment and my part of the insurance for it is murdering me financially. I'll be looking for a new job in order to address both of these concerns but how long the job search will last I'm not sure, and I hate not knowing or being able to anticipate that.

Ah well. The Boy is still around and I like him quite a bit which is FREAKING ME OUT. I have now reached the point where I will legit cry if he breaks up with me. A point that I have not reached with a significant other since May of 2007. It's terrifying. Especially when some aspects of my life are a bit in turmoil.

Anyway, that's more than I really wanted to think about it. So let's quite quickly segue to what this post is really about. Stéphane Lambiel's more homoerotic choreography:

The opening is supposed to be... maybe some manly posturing? A little any pose you can strike I can strike better, but it comes across as "Shall we do the horizontal tango, mi amor?" Stéphane has also performed this piece solo and it was just gorgeous. Honestly, I like it better than Flamenco even though Flamenco was more in your face sexy and this is more "OMG TEH ART!!!" But I find Stéphane most sexy when he's nattering on about joy of movement rather than smoldering at me. Call me crazy. I also love this for reminding me (along with Toy Story 3) about flamenco dancing. I love flamenco guitar so how did I forget about the dancing?

You know that expression "Cuter than puppies and kittens in a basket?" Most anything that Jeffrey Buttle does usually warrants this response but when you throw in a fake fist fight with Stéphane Lambiel, that shit should come with a warning. So. WARNING: SOMETHING PAINFULLY ADORABLE LIES UNDER THE ABOVE CUT.

So the moral of this appears to be: "Drama? ...no. SKATING! FOREVER!"
