So since yesterday I have rewatched Titanic, The Man in The Iron Mask, and Inception. Also, I finally got around to watching Shutter Island, The Departed, and Blood Diamond.
The thing all these movies have in common? Leo DiCaprio
random observation; he gets hotter with age, I think, 'cause in Titanic and Man in the Iron Mask? Hot enough I suppose... The Departed, onwards? Well
Second random observation: Does the man have a requirement that most of his characters face horrible fates before he agrees to be in a movie, or something? (I mean sure, Phillipe in MITIM makes it out okay, but Louis gets shut up in the mask for the rest of his life)... Does he enjoy it?
It's kind of like when you see a movie/book based on real events, and you immediately know that most if not all of the characters are going to die because that's just how it goes... Or if you see Michael Shanks in a role, you know it's likely he'll either die, be the bad guy, or both...
If you see Leo DiCaprio in a movie, his character is going to die, or suffer a fate worse than death (or it will at least be heavily implied).
Does that knowledge count as a constant spoiler for any movie he may be in for the rest of his career?
