There's No Such Thing As Psychics
non-fandom first:
1) Fridge will be another week.

fandom:
1) I just finished LOST. Holy shit.
2) I have spent the last several days enjoying the AC downstairs by watching The Mentalist.
It has been torturing me, too. There hasn't been a single episode that didn't have me and my mom saying "hey, I know him/her!" and then we spend the rest of the episode trying to figure out where we know them FROM. But a handful of them have been from SPN... Jo, Amelia, s2 Azazel, the first Alistair, Mark Pellegrino, and the Rougarou from season 4... I'm sure there's some I missed, too... anyway, it's torturing me. Every time I see someone from SPN pop up, I'm reminded that we get no more till September.
anyway, we've caught up on the Mentalist. I very much enjoy the show. I didn't think I was going to, but I gave it a shot, and didn't regret it. I adore Patrick. I totally 'ship Rigsby/Grace, Lisbon deserves a medal for putting up with Patrick, and Cho does the best deadpan EVER- aside from maybe Teal'c from Stargate- and the cases are generally interesting, and even occasionally surprise me. It's fun trying to catch all the things Patrick does, and see if I can figure out what his little schemes are before they reveal it.
... It HAS been renewed for season 3, right?
as for those SPN actors showing up, it makes me really want an SPN/Mentalist crossover, or something... Patrick would totally throw Sam, Dean, and Cas for a loop... Seriously, if any of you on my F-List have watched the Mentalist, just picture Dean, Sam and Cas getting questioned by Patrick, and him picking up on every little thing... Dean's tough guy mask would do him no good, he'd be called out on his attachment to Sam, and his personal space issues and tension with Cas. Sam would be called on his anger issues, his constant guilt- and both Winchesters would prolly get their need to sacrifice themselves analyzed-... and Cas... Eh, I dunno. Cas might be the one being on the planet that Patrick wouldn't be able to read like a book...
I know... Cas and Cho could have a deadpan contest. Or a staring contest. Anyone wanna place bets?
