Unimportant updates
It's only Tuesday but work has already dragged on for the week. Ugh. But, I am going to try to refrain from complaining too much because it does not really solve any problems. Right now, I am at home with the cat kneading by my side. I should be outside enjoying my new flowers! Flowers on my patio make me so happy. We finally were able to get a hook to work on our concrete walls and I have beautiful hanging baskets. They are my favorite part of all of the flowers. The other ones are still pretty small but I am sure they will blossom into bigger things.
My birthday is approaching pretty soon. Some girlfriends from work are throwing me a little party because John will be in class the night of actual birthday. And, Brittany is setting up for the office people to take me out to breakfast. It will be a day of good meals for sure! As far as presents, I don't really want or need anything. We spent some money on flowers and I got a new cell phone today so I count all those things as presents. My new cell phone is pretty sweet - it is the Verizon Voyager. It is a quasi-iPhone rip off but I like it better. Sleek, black, pretty thin...I think it is impressive.
John and Dave are playing Call of Duty 4 right now. Dave is playing on the computer set up in the living room and John is playing on his computer in the bedroom. It is a bit nerdy because they are both on headsets talking to one another but it seems like they are having a good time. We had dinner together earlier in the evening. Chipotle was sponsoring a free food for all educators today...Dave and I both count so we had free dinner on them. Yum, free Chipotle.
Okay, the cat keeps trying to knead my chest and face and is stepping on the keyboard. Guess that means he would like some attention. More later...
