When Lindsay was a little girl, growing up in Montana, she dreamed of going to the ocean. She dreamed about dipping her toes in the salt water, swimming out far enough to see fish swim underneath her. The ocean seemed like it was a million miles away from Montana. But then, so did New York City. Danny took her to see the ocean for the first time. They’d been dating for a few months when he arranged for them to have a weekend off and drove to the shore so they could dip their toes in the salt water together.
