Hiatus?
I've been gone for a long ass time. I haven't read, updated, or even thought about LJ except for a few times while updating my MySpace Blog... Tonight I felt as though it deserved an update.
Today, overall, has been one of the better days in a long ass time. Made it thru work with $5 in tips and free Orange Juice and Chocolate Milk for use/consumption. Got to the bank and who of all people did I run into? Justin! Yes, that's right ladies & gents, Justin - my favorite customer from Pet Supplies Plus. Had to love that one! Got home, showered, got dressed again and headed to the mall to buy my Momma some stuff for Mother's Day, which isn't for another week but while it's not being shoved into my To-Do list I figured why not get it over with.
So while I'm at the mall, Aero was busy as hell w/ Ryan, Tasha, and Colleen working. I was all minorly dressy too -- not going to happen when I go out for the rest of the night, those pants were gettin' annoying. Went to NY&Co. to see if they had any black pants I liked, but they all fit funny. Went to get a pretzel for dinner -- and Tom, the cute boy at the pretzel place, was working. BS'd with him, got my stuff, filled out an app for Jenni, gave him my number, and left.
Planned on getting a haircut with about 10-15 minutes left at Great Clips hoping that somebody would say yeah thats fine and not rush it or anything -- but making it there at 8:50p when they close at 9p isn't a good thing because they had already closed down the register. What the heck?? So instead... I WENT TANNING! Never been tanning before in my life, but I went. Not bad, I think I'll go again tomorrow or Sunday depending. They said it takes 24-48 hours before you can see any results so this shit better kick in quick. I went in for 10 minutes and barely felt anything. I was in the lowest-watt bed and whatnot though so I dunno. We shall see.
My alarm is going off on my cell phone which means that Ashley's alarm is going off on her cell phone. Between Eminem and Bowling for Soup we're a couple of people who will never not know when it's 10pm.
AShleigh left for Georgia on Wednesday night. She said she'll be back in a weekl... let's hope so.
As far as everything else, I leave in 9 days. That seems too soon...alas, it's not. May 16th I'm on a plane on my way to Germany?? What the heck.. All I can say "Habenze-foyer" say it as it sounds and it's asking for a lighter... and then I can say the translation of "I'm sorry, but can you please speak English" and oh yes, the best one yet, "Eesh - La - Ba - Deesh" saying it as it sounds again and it's "I love you" ... Somebody (i.e. ME) needs to learn some other phrases and soon.
Hope all is well, I'm going to try and get back to updating freqently.. I'm lost without writing and I think I've been dependant on MySpace for some reason. *Shrugs* Oh well... =)
