I hate snow. I hate everything about it. How it makes things look like someone covered their dead, lifeless selves with a giant bottle of white out.
HOWEVER.
For the first time in my life, I was sitting at the light waiting for it to change on Dartmouth and Pelham and it was pretty snow. The really slow, big flakes, movie kind of snow and it made me smile. Until I realized that it was also the kind of snow that made me think of "Christmas Bells" from RENT where the majority of the lines consist of "Kiss me it's beginning to snow" as opposed to the general line between Mark and Roger of "Hey it's beginning to snow!"
It made me lonely - and then the pretty happy snow feeling was gone, and I remembered why I hated snow in the first place.
