to keep this journal or erase it ?
I don't know if I want to keep this stupid LJ anymore.
I prefer writing in my journal.
The one where I use a pen and actually write words
on paper.
I mean what is the use of a LJ anyway ?
Is it to show off or what ?
Weird.
Or is it to vent or because it is easier to use ?
Anyway....I think it is less creative than keeping
a real journal...
So here is what is new with me =
I am not moving to Washington D.C. in January.
In a way it is a relief because I do
not see myself moving in the middle of the winter
and real estate is too expensive.
In another way it is frustrating to think I will miss
out on the metro and the
international flavor of this city.
I am going to India in February and March
to do a holistic treatement for 35 days and
pursue my photography.
I also want to start to do research for a future documentary.
But really---India will be an opportunity to just relax in
Southern India and see some family that I have not seen in 15 years.
It will be an interesting challenge for sure as I am not
quite Indian...
Anyway---I still want to go to Mauritania.
That will be next year probably.
Last night it snowed for the first time.
It was beautiful.
I love the heavy snowfalls because it forces all humans to stop.
And it creates this magical silence.
You can stand in the middle of an intersection
without getting crushed because
there is no traffic in a snowstorm.
