Title: We Know By Now To Say Enough (11/?) Rating: T/PG-13 Disclaimer: The title/lyrics used are from the song “The Secret’s In The Telling” by Dashboard Confessional. Summary: Missing moments between Puck and Quinn during season two.
Yeah, that was...yeah. I mean, I didn't hate that, definitely worked for me more the second time around. But, I'm not at all ready to accept that as why Quinn Fabray turned into Quinn Fabray. When I realized where that scene was going and what was going to come out of it, all I could think of was, "Brad, why are you doing this to her? This will never be brought up again. Why something like this????"
When Quinn went up to Lauren and said, "you don't know anything about me. Now it's personal," or whatever. The slightest slightest fleeting thought of, "OMG BRAD, ARE YOU GOING TO BRING UP THE INTERNAL SHIT THAT SHE SHOULD BE HAVING ABOUT BETH?! THIS IS WHY YOU ARE THE BEST ONE." *sigh* I hate when hope happens.
Dianna Agron managed to act out that scene very well, so it didn't piss me off as much as it could've, but still. Did Brad really write that episode?? I'm surprised - I thought Ryan would (this new order is so confusing -_-). But I suppose all that Santana awesome drama is Brad's baby, so.
I THOUGHT SO TOO AND I GOT SO EXCITED T_T I can't wait to write that episode out because I'm going to bring it up and it will be great. Hopefully, anyway.
OK, cool, so I'm not the only one scratching my head at this second half writers order. I for sure thought this was going to be Ryan's just for the fact that Night of Neglect was Ian's (even though Ryan took Original Song). The beginning felt like a Ryan, but then I saw Brad's name pop up. Does kind of explain the preachy in this ep. Dude's been taking opportunities to preach since his Nip/Tuck days. As long as Brad is also writing the finale, I'm down. Competition episodes being Brad's eps should be law, even though Ryan did pretty good with Original Song.
I don't know why the order is messed up - I think it was because Ian somehow wrote two episodes in a row at one point? Ugh.
Brad usually writes good episodes, he's my favorite of the three, but I don't know why he's been so heavy-handed lately (I'm looking at you, Sexy), but if he's done that on his old show, then I suppose we'll just have to accept it begrudgingly. Agreed - Brad usually writes awesome competition eps, but I was impressed with Original Song.
Probably.
*nods* Mmm-hmm.
That text exchange about Fat Bottomed Girls was so funny.
