kate and i got to adorable PS 10 at 7:50 this morning and were done by 8:30. not bad. i wore my bluest outfit, which is still mostly black, but i tried. our somewhat overly excited volunteer briefly thought i was my neighbor, but i can't really blame her as we live on the same floor in the same building and have the same last name. levers were pulled. children's artwork was admired. i was at work by 9:30, patriotic duty done.
i am going to be nervous all day. add the twitches that come from eating candy too early in the morning (damn halloween is STILL being celebrated in our office kitchen) and i'll be bouncing off the walls soon.
i certainly hope you have all voted or will be voting soon. otherwise, i am not sure we can still be friends.
