and they all look like ticky tacky houses....
a pretty guy smiled at me a lot yesterday and looked adorable while doing it, a hot guy brushed by my arm when he got on the subway and said goodbye and see you soon when i got off, and my chilean prince is coming over tomorrow.
i work too much, my room is a FUCKINNNG dump, but whatevs clearly i'm straight relaxin, gettin hyphy on occasion and keeping it real.
today while working at ben and jerry's, boston said whats up. in front of my store was a protest concerning the Israel/Palestine conflict. rational, intelligent conversations were held over hippie dude ice cream cones. MassEquality filled the steps of the state building demanding that the Massachusetts state governement not be stupid and irrational. If there was a popular vote on slavery after the Emancipation Proclamation, slavery would not have ended. If there had been a popular vote on the right for black people to vote in this country after Brown v. the Board of Education, there would have been no integrated public schools. If there had been a popular vote on the women's suffrage movement there would have been no vote for women. How dare anyone, with any power, anywhere, question that fact. That sometimes it IS up to the state and the central government to dictate to their people, when the people are too inhumane and ignorant to understand on their own, what is right and human in terms of civil liberties and equal opportunity to happiness, love, and fucking life.
The radicals who have come before and turned this country on its head all for the sake of a better life are turning over in their grave right now.
I, myself, am turning over and going to sleep, because today I saw something spark in the eyes of those boys on the subway, in the people fighting for their human beliefs, and in my own reflection.
With that rant, I bid you adieu.
