i am trying to settle into holiday shopping online, but this has thus far been unsuccessful. i've come to discover that the boys i know aren't metrosexual or urban enough. they do not want designer jeans and cannot pull off watches with bands made of vintage neckties. as for the girls, i am not willing to settle on the abundance of generic gift options ranging from blah bags to bath products inspired by the sweet tooth of jessica simpson. even fredflare.com has seemed boring lately. maybe it's me. maybe everything else has just been so over-whelming lately that the normal degree of 'whelming' has no effect on me.
hopefully the *layered* pumpkin pie/pecan pie i just made can live up to these new standards. the thing's practically like thanksgiving times 2, and so i think it might actually have a shot.
