Dream 3/8/11

Mar 08, 2011 10:15

I'm wearing a tuxedo, my hair is slicked back. Brian matches me and I'm like his mini twin. Neither one of us is wearing glasses. We're smiling as we enter my friend's car. I didn't recognize the girls, but they were pretty and I knew that they were my friends and not his. There were three of them wearing dresses. I remember that we were all laughing in the car and Brian just sat there smiling like I think he would do if he were trapped in a car with all my friends. We stop in front of what looks almost like the South Coast Plaza Mall. We all step out and I remember feeling find until we go inside this little patio area and then inside a big room. Apparently one of my friends was getting married and nobody told me, but my friends brought me along. Suddenly, I felt embarrassed. I told my friends I would be back, grabbed Brian's hand, and started running across the street where I saw a Macy's.

In the high and wide window, I saw a display of very elegant, but short dresses that seemed very fashionable by today's standards as well as some sweater dresses. I really liked sweaters and something about the sophisticated dresses called me in. So Brian and I ran into Macy's and when we got there, there were clothes hanging all over th walls, a few dresses, but not the ones I had scene. There were no clothes on the floor, not even on those movable metal things that you could hang clothes on. All the clothes were either displayed flat on the wall or they were folded and shoved neatly into little cubbies that went into the wall. I went around quickly and tried looking at them, Brian trailed idly behind. I saw in the front of the store by the cash registers that there was a woman with short black hair directing these men to move a rack of dresses, the ones I had scene in the mirror, to the back of the store. The door was just behind the register table to the right. I ran up to her and asked if I could see the dresses. She said that they weren't selling well so they would no longer be up for display or sale. I asked her if I could just LOOK at them then. She gave me a look and then smiled and let me in the back. Brian is gone from the dream from here on out.

I go in the back and it's shaped kind of like a square flask might be shaped. It is a square room with a small hall the leads to the only door. On the right hiding behind a wall is a small really unnoticable vault. I go directly to the dress rack I just saw and start flipping through the dresses. I like some of them so much that I ask if I can try them on. She says I can and we seem to form a silent friendship. There was a dress I tried on over my jacket that made me look kind of like Hailey from One Tree Hill when she wore this black dress, except mine had this really nice rusty orange colored design on the left sleeve. It was a tank, so it was more next to my arm pit. I looked at myself in the mirror and sure enough with the dress over all my clothes I looked slightly pregnant. I laughed and she laughed and I took it off and looked at the sweater ones, but I couldn't find the one that really caught my eye. It was black, cut to the thigh, with those sleeves that were between being a thick tank top and a very short tee so that they looked triangular and pointed out at the shoulders, but only slightly; the shoulders were white, cut at an angle, and had gold designs running across the top, polka dots and stripes. I thought it looked awesome, but it wasn't in the closet. I asked the girl if she had seen it and she did something in the hall of the room and then the vault opened up and inside was the dress I had wanted.

From here it speeds up to where the woman is in the front again at the cashier's desk while I am in the back looking at more of the dresses the vault now closed. I start looking at some sweater dresses in the hall next to the door inside the back and then the power goes out. I open the door, just a crack, to see if I could ask her what happened. She has two thin flashlights in her hand and a man in a black beanie approaches her also with a flash light. She either apologizes to him for the power outage or for them being closed, I can't remember which, and then he says something along the lines of, that's fine because I'm here to rob this place anyway. I close the door and from there I don't really know where I am but you can't see me. Earlier I found a switch that didn't turn the lights back on but did make some sort of noise somewhere else in the room. The woman flicks the switch and the noise happened again and then she leads the man into the vault where the dress and all the money is. I sneak over to where the switch is and then I disappear as my dream vision goes back to being inside the vault where the woman and the robber are. For a second sleeping me feels like she has a Stockholm Syndrome for a minute cause she seems pretty calm and very open about the fact that they also have a triggered bomb that is set to go off not long after the vault is closed if there is still someone in there. So what the robber does is not take any money, but run out of the store after he closes the door on the girl. As far as I know I don't save her and no bomb sets off.

The next thing I know I'm walking around on this green field and I'm smashing in some Zombie's heads, and then the guy from earlier, the robber, seems to be after me, creating all these zombies to come after me and they listen to everything he says. I think I get saved by someone who picks me up in a motorcycle witch ends up crashing when the Robber catches up to us and smashes it. I survive, but the guy doesn't. I start running down these stairs that seem to belong to a castle of some sort and I'm smashing zombies left and right. At the bottom there is a large group of little ones and I have a wrench and I'm whacking away at them and it feels just like it would in a video game.

And then I force myself to wake up because I hear a siren and start to think maybe my dream was coming real.
