It is one million degrees. Okay, really, it's probably 85. No air conditioning, but everyone now has a box fan or a working ceiling fan in their rooms. We sleep with the windows open as far as they go, and with the wood doors open on either side of the house, box fans in front of the screen doors. On Friday night we went to Ellie's dance recital, which started at 7 and ended at 10. Of course her group was fourth from last out of like 47 dances. We enjoyed it, though. Everyone went except Anderson, and I sat with Maggie and Kennedy. Good times. We went to Dairy Queen afterwards and ended up home around 11, where everyone pretty much fell ( Read more... )
