I went returning ill-fitting pants this morning, (I know they were only $19.95, but WHY did I think that purchasing two pairs of cropped skinny twill pants would enhance my wardrobe? They only gave me mom-butt) and of course ended up spending more than the amount of my returns. I ALWAYS do that. On the upside, I also got a pair of SPANX to wear under my skirt and they are totally preventing that annoying my-thighs-are-rubbing-together feeling that I have been having since I left Texas and the in-home elliptical machine.
I almost bought a really tempting knit dress from French Connection, but it was EXPENSIVE so instead I went to H&M and got all of this
- Black and white cotton kimono style top
- black knee length pencil skirt
- cropped sleeve tweed jacket that looks like something I saw on Nicky Hilton once but DO NOT JUDGE as it is CUTE.
- hair clips
for less than the cost of the one FCUK dress.
I would also like to state that while the season premiere of Veronica Mars had many LINES that I enjoyed, (such as the Magnolia cupcakes shoutout) and many Dick moments that elicited happy faces (such as ALL OF THEM), [yet] I think as a whole I was more intrigued by Prison Break, i.e., I stopped watching VM halfway through so I could watch Wentworth Saves the Day and felt no compunctions.
