(no subject)
Yesterday my friend Stephanie invited me to a birthday party she and her roommates were throwing because one of their roommates just turned 21. It was a fun party, but all the guys were gay. Actually I know for sure that two weren't gay, but yeah. My friend Stephanie is a NUT. She's crazy. She was dancing All. Night. I don't know how the girl does it. One of her friends came by and was pop-locking and ticking and all that. It was wild. They were straight acting a fool.
I had lots to drink, but I paced myself. I had a Smirnoff Ice to start with, but that doesn't really count as alcohol, and ended up capping the night off with a straight Taquila shot. That's some nasty ass shit. It burned like hell, too. My head was spinning like, five minutes after drinking that shit. You know, I think I'm just going to stick to margaritas. Shots just ain't my thing. I can't hold liquor for anything either. I didn't get drunk at all but after a while, I couldn't stomach the idea of drinking anything with alcohol. If I'm going to become a lush, I definitely need more practice.
The only other exciting thing that happened was I got my cavitiy filled at the dentist. It's still sensitive to cold stuff, but otherwise my tooth feels fine. No pain and I got it done with the natural color stuff instead of silver. Do they even use silver fillings anymore?
Oh yeah, and I had to take my car Rufus to the shop. It's the fucking transmission. Again. I mean, I don't think my parents spent 1700 dollars to have that thing rebuilt so that I could be dumping a quart of transmission fluid into every 2 days and dragging it back to the shop every few months. This is getting ridiculous. It's a good thing we took it to a shop where the work has a warranty on it, so this last visit is gratis. But it looks like I won't have my car for the start of school. Which is Monday!
