lol. this is TOO. FUNNY. to me! you guys don't understand HOW obsessed i was with that group! they came out in 1996, when i was in the 5th/6th grade and i STILL have a fold-out poster of them i got in WordUP (is that mag still around?) hanging on my wall all these years later! back then, i didn't have a cd player yet, and i STILL have their cassette in my room, too. and even though i listened to it EVERY DAY, it's in pristine condition =P
my favorite member was brandon. he was the youngest (closest to my age--he's the one who's sitting highest in the picture), and in my eyes was the FOINEST boy i'd ever seen in my LIFE. it got so bad that my closest friends started calling me "Crystal Brown" (they thought it was clever since there was a girl named Crystal Brown in our class. rofl.)
they came out w/one album and had two singles i believe, "Blackberry Molasses" and "Lady", but then i never saw nor heard nothing from them. the last i heard, byron reeder was on that ghetto UPN show "The Playa" and now Bobby's ass has come out w/a new song.
the first time i heard it, i was getting ready for class and the video was on t.v. i remember turning to my roommate and saying, "who the hell is this? do you hear those simple ass lyrics! it sounds like that fool went to the the Fiddy Cent School of Song-Writing".
