(no subject)
*yawn* ok hi. um, i was in pit this weekend, as usual... nothing of terribly great importance to any of you happened, i saw mr. and mrs. smith--it was freaking hilarious... '"any last words honey?" "yeah!!!!! i think your new curtains are hideous!!!!!!" *ka-BOOM (blows up elevator he's in)*' lol. ya'll should see it. and ryan bought himself a new car, for which i am very proud of him for finally getting around to. it's a brand new chevy prism, which is basically a toyota corolla for 5K less. gets wonderful gas milage (40+ mpg), etc. now he'll have something to come see me with! he's coming to toledo this september, until then he'll be busy working at guardian angel paramedics....
nothing else of particular interest happened this weekend, except for a really funny conversation that happened last night at my house which i will record here. i had told my sister earlier in the day that i was going to swing by st. joe's to have a drug test done for my job, and of course you all know what that is. well erin went out with a friend which shall, out of compassion, remain un-named here, and mentioned to that person that i was doing some "testing" for work, and somehow the friend didn't understand that it was drug testing. later that evening when erin and this friend came home, the friend asked "so how did your testing go?" i'm like "what?!!!!" (this person can not seriously want to know the details of this) and they're like "yeah, tell me how it went!" i'm like, "ummm, ___, this was drug testing. let's think about this for a minute. are you sure you really want all the details?!" and erin steps in and is like "gosh!!!! it was a pee test! why do you want to know about that?!" i then had the entertainment of watching this dear friend blush a very deep red for the first time in a very long time (it takes a lot to phase this person normally). sweet victory. the friend was like "no.... seriously, that's alright... forget i asked... can we change the subject?! *sweat on forehead*" so that was funny.... i warned the friend i was putting this story in my lj and xanga, but promised not to mention any names, so if any of you find out or have suspicions, keep it to yourself for their sake. or bug the crap out of them lol, that would be more fun. your choice.
anywayz, i need to find out when erin's flight is, so i can take her, and inquire at the airport what the current ID90 tix are for other airlines, i want to see if i can make one last trip out to CO to see my grandparents for a weekend before i completely lose my flying priveleges for good *snifle*. the only way to visit them in one weekend is to take united airlines out to durango and hope i catch the plane because flying into albuquerque and flying back in one weekend is a no-can-do-totally-stupid-thing-to-even-think-about-trying-for-one-second. i also need to find a weekend to make one last california trip. so yeah, between pit and other places, you guys probably won't see me on sundays for a while, for the crowd at home anyways. don't worry, i'll be home lots this fall, so i'll see ya'll then.
addendum: it really stinks that it's already 80 degrees at 10am. i know, josh, shut up.
