I've been drafting this post in my head for the last few days and I'm not going to even attempt an indepth recap of Sirens. There was just so much to each day that it would be impossible to capture it all.

( So, here's a brief day-by-day summary: )

I'm home. Long day, but pretty uneventful travel. I have tons to say about Sirens and pics to post, but that will have to wait until I have clean clothes and some dinner (Sabs, what did I order for dinner?) and sleep.

*squishes to all of my Sirens peeps* Miss you!!!

ETA: And Happy Birthday to longtimegone!!

Am exhausted. But am really enjoying interacting with the attendees AND our guests, Tammy, Kristin, and Sherwood, who are SOOOO very fascinating and down to earth and just plain cool. Seriously, I think I've gotten teary at every event with them so far.

Er, so, I'm trying to pack for Sirens and...

I can't fit everything into one suitcase!!!!!!!

And the largest suitcase I have exceeds the size limits by one inch.

Luckily, Southwest allows two checked bags and doesn't charge for either, BUT that means I have to wrangle the bags on my own, along with my hand luggage. (And hope everything fits in luminousmarbles' ( Read more... )

I have five 11-year-old boys in my basement who are making more noise that a military invasion and our two-month-old AC/heat pump unit is on the fritz, but I am calm because I have just made an appointment for a massage and facial at the spa at the Vail Cascade.
