FINALLY finished A Storm of Swords (aka ASOIAF, book 3). I reached a point in the middle of this book where I was just, "What is the point of all of this?!" and lost interest. But once I only had 3000 300 pages left, I just had to push through to the end. I still really love this world and many of its characters, but omg, GRRM! Brevity! ( Read more... )

1. After reading a few more articles on the whole G+/name policy brouhaha, I decided to delete G+ from my fandom email account. Looks like the only thing I've lost is Buzz which I am fine with. I am keeping it on my other account, but wish Google had been very clear about where they were going with this from the beginning. It leaves a bad taste ( Read more... )
