i'm home, but not for long...
so i had a wonderful week!
i was home saturday & sunday and then headed back to birmingham on monday.
i got to spend a ton of time with my "lov-ah", friends (logan, bethany, & jess), sarah-michael-&the bean, AND zapopan (home away from home).
i also earned some sorely needed moolah by subbing tues, wed, thurs, & fri...it was tough and i'm exhausted but it was also nice to be back on a schedule again.
HERE'S MORE (random thoughts in no particular order):
monday blake and i had supper at full moon bbq (one of my bham haunts) and hung out doing absolutely nothing until it was time to try to go to bed early.
this was after an afternoon "work-out" at orr park...he's a good motivator and we had fun but we spent most of the time walking, so i'm not way impressed with myself.
monday & tuesday blake and i hung out with bethany and the kitties (buddy & daisy) being comfy and playing with her nintendo wii. i LOVE that thing and i really think i might need one someday! the funny thing: i played boxing for about 30 minutes and really felt like i had worked out.
margarita night was a little lonely but exactly what i needed after my first day back on a middle school schedule. blake, bethany, and i held down a table for 6 and spent some nice quiet time catching up and relaxing.
wednesday we hung out with the thomases+baby...it was like being at home! phoebe ("bean") is beautiful and doing well...as is sarah, she looks great and is really doing a fabulous job with the baby.
thursday was logan's birthday celebration & we ate at habaneros in alabaster where the hostess and i made a secret surprise pact to honor logan's birthday...the waiters swarmed her and a sombrero plopped on her head. she wasn't too happy about it, but she was a good sport so i don't think she's disowned me yet. love you logan! (it was the funniest thing i've ever seen)
friday i spent the afternoon with the thomases again until i met jess at cracker barrel for supper. jess and i had a PERFECT girls night in...watching "gilmore girls" and eating junk food in our pjs. LOVED IT!!!
