(no subject)
We went to edinburgh over half term. I need to post pics.
In the meantime... for the first time ever in my life I woke up in the middle of the night with itchy eyes cause of hayfever. What's that about? I put my eyedrops in before bed, pollen settles in the evening, why on earth would I have itchy eyes in the night? To think I was hoping maybe I hadn't got hayfever anymore, i was late with symptoms this year. No such luck, but the hay-band does seem to be working, when i got up i had the itchiest throat, and a blocked nose and about a million sneezes. Putting on the hay-band seems to have stopped it. "Regression to the mean" says alii_cat, but what is the mean in hayfever season? I mean it is raining, but it was the worst symptms I've had all season and they went within minutes of me putting the band on. Only sneezed once since, and that's been about 5 hours now.
My house is really messy, I should really be tidying it. The garden, and front yard are also terrible. The grass is about 3 feet high, and we have weeds so big they have trunks!
Next year I hope to go to beautiful days, I am crossing my fingers for this line up:
-levellers (obviously!)
-levellers acoustic (obviously!)
-new model army
-carter USM
-seth lakeman
-tribal drift
-asian dub foundation
-oysterband
I would also like these people to play so alii_cat is happier about it... he will probably only come if loads of people we know go and there are some bands he likes, so fingers crossed for:
-rancid
-gabriela cilmi
-lily allen
-ICP (OK I am being ludicrous with that one)
Before then I have to finish sorting out our holiday... we have tickets moscow to beijing and a hotel in moscow, moscow hotel prices are crazy. We also have an offer of a place to crash for the night in shanghai... an old friend is moving there. Still a fair bit to sort out.
Immediately after we get back we are going to a wedding, so before we go I also need a dress, the car hire in france (oh yes, the wedding is in france) and some hair to go with whatever dress I get.
oh yes, and I want to see NMA play in december in London, anyone a fan? Alii_cat hates them :( My other NMA fan friend is moving out of the country. In fact all my friends are moving out of the country.
