First, I want to thank everyone for their support in this venture that we're undertaking. It's a long road, but September will be here faster than we think...although with over 40 inches of snow on the ground, it doesn't feel that way.
Second, I'm feeling a little bit better, but I'm still battling some wicked congestion. This is the first time I've actually had it settle into my ears. I feel like I am underwater. It's getting a little annoying, actually. Since I haven't been able to run, I've had to improvise on my workouts a little. I never realized that snow shovellingburns as many calories as it does. Up to 600/hour! Wow!
So this has been my workout for the last week or so, courtesy of Mother Nature and 40+ inches on the ground. It's really no replacement for running though, so hopefully, I will either be able to go for a run or be able to get myself to the gym again soon. On the plus side, it's definitely helping to strengthen...well, everything, really.
