Life has not been terribly exciting as of late, and I'm okay with that. Here's a little nugget of call center joy for those of you not blessed enough to experience this kind of thing.
Lady (who speaks VERY little English): I need check order.
Missa: Okay, what's your order number?
Lady: ...what?
Missa: Order number? Do you have one?
Lady: ...what?
Missa: Order. Number.
Lady: Oh, order number. My order is (blah blah blah)
Missa: *checks order, gives status* Was that all for you today?
Lady: ...what?
Missa: Is there anything else I can do for you?
Lady: For me?
Missa: Yes. For you.
Lady: No.
Missa: Okay, have a good day, then.
Lady: I have what?!
Missa: What?
Lady: What?
Missa: I'm sorry, did you have another question for me?
Lady: No.
Missa: Okay, then you have a good day.
Lady: *sounding offended* What?!
Missa: Have. A. Good. Day.
Lady: Oh. You too. *hangs up*
Missa: *bangs head against desk repeatedly*
More fun than a barrel full of non-english-speaking monkeys! Lord, I'm laughing so hard right now it's almost like I'm reliving the experience...Good gravy...
