Where does the time go...
Yet again I start a post by saying that it has been a long time since I have posted anything here. I have become rather disenchanted with the internet recently and so have used it only for banking and for porn (which is the main function of the internet after all). Life outside the computer has been good, things are slowing down at work and giving me more time to work on projects that I'm really enthusiastic about instead of trying to just fit them in. I don't have anything big planned in my life currently other than just looking forward to my birthday. Not sure what I'll be doing (or what my family/friends will be doing TO me) but I'm excited none the less. I think no matter how old I get I'll always look forward to my b-day.
James and I and our friend Andreas went to Six Flags yesterday and had a total blast. I don't think I have ever spun quite so fast on the little tea cups before. We all had to go sit down and drink carbonated beverages to keep from puking afterwards. It was great, though. I screamed myself hoarse on the roller coasters and I laughed when we went on all the spinny rides. We even rode the carrousel (James and I sat in the little carriage thing and Andreas rode the horsey that was "pulling" it). And since it was overcast I didn't even have to worry about getting sunburned, though it did start to rain later in the day about the time that we headed home.
Tomorrow is my step brother's birthday so we'll be heading over to my dad's house for dinner and cake and all kinds of good stuff. He's turning 16 which means both he and my brother Josh will now be the same age. They grow up so fast *sniff*.
There really isn't much else to tell at the moment. I fully intend to watch the Emmy's tonight and wait with bated breath for Hugh Laurie to take the stage (here's hoping for House Emmy #2). I'll probably fast forward through any part that doesn't feature either him or Penn and Teller :)
