I'm in love with the band Blue October. It's funny, though I go from band to band and just become randomly obsessed with whoever happens to strike my fancy at the moment I haven't been this into a band in a long while. I've probably listened to 'Calling You' 14 times today (which is enough to make even me sick of most songs) and 'Chameleon Boy' has been stuck in my head almost non-stop. There's just something about them, whether it's the lead singer's husky voice and the way he grates out certain lines or the fact that even when they're singing about killing and torturing someone the lyrics are still so incredibly insightful.
Here are the lyrics to a song that makes me think of HP fandom. It is now and will forever remain one of the only songs that consistently makes me think of Snape. Maybe the lyrics to this song aren't exactly insightful, but they're at least appropriate. Mmm...angst.
