starting to move....
Today has been pretty chill so far. Aaron is out doing errands and so I started to pack some stuff, mainly a portion of my books & dvds. I have a ton of notebooks & journals. I came across my first serious sketchbook that I started over 11 years ago when I was 12 years old. Now, I'm sure those of you who know me or have been reading this awful thing for a long time know that I have a deep love for Sailor Moon. My life changed drastically due to the Pretty Soldier. If it weren't for Sailor Moon, I don't think I would've taken such a serious interest in art. So, I found my first sketchbook. This was the first page.
You may notice that the page has been ripped in two areas. My sister got mad at me and threw it behind the fridge, ripping the cover off and the first few pages. I was devastated. Not too shabby for a 12-year-old, if I may say so myself!!! I filled the entire sketchbook with drawings from sailor moon. I really didn't have friends as a kid, so doing stuff like that was very therapeutic for me.
Since I've been kinda bored, I redid my LJ a bit. Go check it out. Instead of Angelic Pretty Cakes I used a design by Lotta Kuhlhorn. If you like the design I used, check out her site at http://www.lottakuhlhorn.se. I saved quite a few!
I cannot wait to move and get out of here. It seems like things are falling apart here...literally. The plumbing in my kitchen sink is a joke. It's gotten to the point where it leaks like crazy since they bought cheap pipes. I know they won't fix it because they're converting the place into a single unit. The CO2 alarm goes off all the time because the place isn't properly vented. I've noticed quite a few cracks in the wall, so they probably did a really poor job of fixing the place up. I just can't wait to be out of here.
