Hi all! Question: what did you to do today? Was it nerdier than waiting three hours in a game shop with your mother to meet
the voice of Mario while surrounded by people dressed as various Nintendo characters and a six foot walking Yoshi? Cause that's what I did lol. He was doing a signing down at EB Games in the city and anyone who dressed up won free stuff, so there were many people in half-assed Mario and Luigi costumes. We were sandwiched in line between some cosplay pros, four guys dressed as Mario/Luigi/Waluigi/Wario and three girls dressed as Princess Peach and co (who I'm pretty sure won a Wii for their efforts). It was pretty damn entertaining. We missed out on a free gift bag by about three people, but we bought some little figurines to get signed and the man himself was lovely. People were getting him to sign everything from old school Mario games to their DS consoles and random things, like one person who bought in their GAMEBOY PRINTER omg. Remember those? They went along with the crappy black and white Gameboy Camera and printed your photos as stickers! Anyway, someone from the store also took our photo randomly as we were saying hello so I'll see if I can find it for next post. I probably look high though!
I would talk about uni, but it's kicking my ass as per usual and I actually have stuff to pimp tonight. Uh, yay?

Ben Stiller teaches Mickey Rooney about Twitter. They really need to sit Ben Stiller down and get him to just read the most recent tweets for half an hour and put that on youtube. "Oldest daughter shaving legs for the first time, how did this happen, what's next, I need a drink." LOL
- In case you didn't hear,
DJ AM died. That does not really sadden me as much as it should possibly because I only know that he was Nicole Richie's ex-fiance. Oh well.

Keith Urban's "duet" (if you can call it that) with Brad Paisley is probably the lamest song either of them has ever recorded, but the video is hilarious. It stars ten year old versions of themselves playing guitar hero and the entire last three minutes is just them having a guitar solo-off, which is really just guitar hero IRL if you think about it. Oh and Keith manages to get his pick stuck in his guitar at the start. Is this more hilarious then the Jovi video wherein Richie pretends his acoustic guitar is electric by a Roman fountain? I've probably lost you already, but the answer is pretty much just LOL. (The middle 8 is insanely catchy though. Even if the lyrics are scrape up some money and buy a van, learn Free Bird and Ramblin' Man, never buy another beer again. I find this weird considering Keith is a recovering alcoholic lol.)
- Oh hai there,
30 second Brothers and Sisters promo! What have we learned? Justin and Rebecca are engaged, Kevin and Scotty are adorable, Kitty's marriage sucks and Grandma Walker is still alive. So pretty much nothing!

These two icon guides/tutorials are proving useful in not eliminating me from the LIMS I'm doing! I will actually post all my LIMS icons when I get voted out BTW. I know it's been months since I've posted any, but it all depends on when people get sick of the icons I threw together half an hour before the deadline. Which they haven't yet, so yay.
And: I've finally decided what I'm going to do this summer! Well, writing-wise, anyway. I already planned to do my own little version of NaNoWriMo in November to add 30k words to my novel (hovering at around 65k) and squish in Yuletide, but after that I've decided I'm going to work on 1 project a month for the 4 months I have off - from ideas I've come up this year with but never had a chance to run with due to uni. I know one will be a screenplay and one will be a TV series type thing, have no idea about the fourth. This along with taking a summer class, another trip to Morwell and if I'm lucky maybe a real holiday. I am excited for summer already. Til later!
