Hellooo. I got long-winded with my dot points so I leave you with them henceforth! (That was probably a horribly incorrect usage of "henceforth").
- ETA: Totally forgot, but it's my birthday in like two days lol, just FYI. I will put up a birthday post for wishes like I do every year, not to worry, and not that I'm expecting anything either. I share my birthday with my grandmother so the family is going out to dinner in Berwick on Saturday night. We are taking my grandma so i will probably have to sit in the middle backseat in my nice dress for the entire ride lol. Such is the usual on my birthday!
- After watching HIMYM (it was "Mosbius Designs") this week and noticing Colbie looked super pregnant with no attempt to hide it I actually googled to see if there was anything detailing how exactly they're going to hide it when she gets ready to pop. Chicago tribune tells me that soon they will be sticking her awkwardly behind the breakfast bar in Ted's kitchen lol. I just find it funny that they're going to these obvious, huge handbag, convenient prop, gag joke routes with Alyson Hannigan, and yet Colbie is just walking around pregnant in her pajamas. What up.
Sidebar: do North Americans not use the term "breakfast bar"? "Pass-through window" as used in that article sounds so awkward in comparison to the sheer beauty of the term "breakfast bar".
- Will Ferrel in talks for ANCHORMAN 2. ZOMG. This is like the on sequel besides FATF4 I am willing to get behind, even if it's just Ron and Veronica on the path to doing the world news or wherever it is that they're all GOOD NIGHT PLANET EARTH at the end of the film. I hope they get Steve Carrell back. I'm sure he'd do it.

- For anyone interested or just feeling prompty, oxoniensis' 8th Porn Battle is now open for prompts. I'll be writing for it again but as always it will stay confined to standardtoaster with appropriate warnings. (Because I'm nice! And some of you are not yet 18.)
- This is interesting: as explained here and clarified here, an anonymous donor is going to donate $5 to charity for every NYR story posted to yuletide (the site, not the comm) between now and the end of August. That may actually be enough to compel me to write one!
- Question: Who likes Chris Pine? Do you like Chris Pine? I'm sure you do, whoever you are. if you do keep an eye on this journal because I maaaay have some news for you soonish in regards to a Chris Pine comm. Ness/thelockerboy has loved Chris Pine since way back when he did "Just My Luck" and started chrispinefans eons ago, which has a bunch of new posts now due to Star Trek's popularity and no moderation queue. She's not online a heap thus I asked her if she wants me to co-mod it, so we'll see! I mean, Pine is fine and all, but I'm really just itching to organize it, tag/meme everything and pimp it out a little bit. Maybe make it a little bit of a Pine graphics/gif zone or whatever gap there is in the Chris Pine LJ market. I'm itching for another online job since BCF closed!
-Since I last posted here have been approximately 300 more cases of swine flu diagnosed in Victoria. That sounds like one of those things where you pick a random number like "approximately a trillion", but no, we really have gone from 200 cases to over 500 in, like, a week. I blame the public transport system, much as I love it, because it apparently will not rest until we're all sick from being shoved in confined spaces with strangers. Sigh.
